Pregnancy Footcare
At T.A Clinic the Podiatrist will carry out a comprehensive assessment and appropriate treatment.
What happens during pregnancy?
During pregnancy, the body undergoes many changes. The majority of these changes are due to the release of hormones in the body to increase the flexibility and mobility of your joints in preparation for birth. This results in your muscles having to work harder through the day, and can commonly cause the following;
General foot and ankle pain
Heel pain
Plantar fasciitis
Dry, cracked heels, Calluses, Corns
Pain in the ball of your foot
Swelling and oedema
‘Hot feet’
Ingrown toenails
At T.A Clinic the Podiatrist will carry out a comprehensive assessment and appropriate treatment. The Podiatrist will also discuss a treatment plan to help with your foot problems. This could include footwear advice, exercise, and generalised foot care.
We provide comprehensive assessments alongside appropriate treatment.
